Keiths true colours came out in me yesterday. For three years I have been unable to break 64.5 Minutes on the City to Surf track. This year I managed to hit 60 Minutes by simply adopting the techniques that Keith taught me. I am not necessarily fitter, just stronger with better technique that got me that time. In the two months since training with Keith I have run two personal best times over10km and also completed a personal best City to Surf. I have also found that after long runs I am less fatigued due to a more efficient stride. I recommend any runner who is serious about improving their technique book a session with Keith.

Following Keith's workshop I took 7 weeks off competition to strengthen up and run short distances barefoot, then beat my half-ironman run pb by a few minutes, 1:32. My new running form feels entirely natural now, and is sustainable through to marathon distance. Lower calves took a few months to adapt, even though I'm accustomed to flat shoes in daily life, with no history of achilles injury. Garmin metrics show that my feet spend 10% less time on the ground now (225ms). This has been a game-changer for me, and I look forward to training faster shorter distances through the (UK) winter.
